Hanging artwork should not be a difficult task. We will break it down into a few easy steps to make your space and artwork shine! The end goal of this is to have the center of the artwork at approximately 60" from the floor (the average eye level ).
Determine the location you want your artwork to display.
Measure the distance from the top of the artwork to the point it will hang. This is the tricky part. If your art has a bracket then measure down from the top to the bottom of the bracket (images below) in inches. If your art has a hanging strap you will want to measure to the point that the strap will secure on the wall (see below). Call this measurement #1
Now measure the overall height, in inches, of the artwork and divide that number in half. Call this measurement #2
Add measurement #1 plus measurement #2 and call this measurement #3.
Next, take 60" minus measurement #3 and this is the height to put a mounting nail or bracket.
