Life is filled with many moments we want to cherish forever. There are many options when it comes to backing up your photos but we will highlight our favorites here:
Providers - There are many places you can keep a backup of your files but they have different price points let's break it down:
Amazon: Already have a prime membership? Amazon lets you backup unlimited photos. Yes you read that right we can save all of our photos and videos to the cloud through amazon if we are prime members. Simply download the Amazon Photos app and follow the instructions to allow it to backup your photos.
Apple: Apple offers cloud storage for a fee. How much storage do you need? For most people we recommend the 200GB plan for $3 per month. If you are finding that you are using this up faster than expected take a look at your video storage. Videos use a lot of storgae space especially with new phones able to record at higher resolutions. The next tier of storage is also an acceptable option but it is rather ex[ensive at $10 per month.
Google: First step is to setup a Google account. You do not have to create a Gmail email address in order to use these services. Simply click the link that says "Use your existing email address". Once you have setup your google account then download the Google Photos app to your phone and choose to allow backup. You will get 15GB of free storage and then will have to pay similar fees to what the other services are requesting.
